Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy for When Life Feels Too Much

Cozy sunlit therapy room deisnged for calm with two armcharis, a blanket and a window that opens to a natural setting with a tree.

I offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) with thoughtful pacing and integration for adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck—and want steadier ground again.

Sessions are available in-person in Oxford, Connecticut, with online therapy offered in Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia, and Florida (where licensed).

Integrative psychotherapy provides the relational foundation. Ketamine-assisted sessions (in collaboration with medical prescribers) and ongoing integration support deeper shifts at a pace your nervous system can tolerate—so progress feels steady and sustainable, not rushed.

When Life Feels Heavy or Unsustainable

Many people arrive here after pushing through for a long time.

Functioning. Coping. Carrying more than feels manageable.

You may be feeling:

  • Anxious or depressed
  • Emotionally worn down
  • Disconnected from yourself
  • Not in crisis—but not quite yourself either

This work supports periods of high strain, when the nervous system is overloaded and relief, steadiness, and clarity feel hard to access on your own.

A Calm, Relational Approach to Mental Health

Mind Body Well Therapy offers holistic mental health counseling services grounded in pacing, safety, and respect for the nervous system.
The work is not rushed or formula-driven.

We move carefully, with attention to what your system can integrate not just what’s possible in a single session.

Rather than focusing on quick fixes, the goal is to help relief and emotional shifts take root in daily life, so change feels steady and sustainable over time.

When This Practice May Be a Good Fit

This work may resonate if you:

  • Feel overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, or emotionally worn down
  • Have been managing life, but at a personal cost
  • Are sensitive to stress, environments, or emotional intensity
  • Want depth-oriented care that feels calm and thoughtful
  • Are not looking for high-volume treatment or quick fixes

If you’re seeking fast answers, rigid protocols, or one-size-fits-all solutions, this may not be the right setting—and that’s okay.

A Note for Highly Sensitive People

Many people who come to this practice identify as highly sensitive.

Sensitivity isn’t a flaw. It’s a nervous system that takes in a lot.

This work supports grounding and steadiness, so sensitivity becomes something you can live with and draw from, rather than constantly manage against.
